Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Gomez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker tries for a takedown but Gomez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Walker looking to score a takedown here. Gomez is defending well but Walker drives through and ends up in Gomez's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gomez wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position.
Walker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gomez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Walker is pushing down on Gomez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gomez is fighting to maintain full guard but Walker has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Walker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
