Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cris Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbari lands with a nice body kick.
Carter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Barbari is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter has wrist control.
Carter has his foot on Barbari's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barbari works his way back into a safe position though.
Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barbari is one step ahead there.
Carter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barbari accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barbari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carter keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Barbari is looking to take a break and control but Carter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Carter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Carter is looking to reverse the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carter tries to clinch but Barbari moves out of range.

Carter comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Barbari is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Carter is looking to control Barbari's arms but Barbari gets an underhook and turns him. Now Carter has his back to the cage.
Barbari wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.

Barbari is sitting in close to Carter's body. Carter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Barbari is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Barbari is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Carter.
