Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim McKinnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKinnon has chosen USMC Amazing Grace as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tom Mason has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mason will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like McKinnon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mason feints a jab promting McKinnon to slip. Mason then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McKinnon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mason looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
As Mason backs off McKinnon throws a huge counter combo but Mason manages to avoid it all.
McKinnon avoids the head kick by Mason.
McKinnon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mason. That one must have hurt.
McKinnon blocks a head kick by Mason.
McKinnon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mason looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Danga de danga de dang - Mason scores with a four punch combination!

Despite the aggression on McKinnon's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McKinnon goes for a takedown attempt but Mason pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McKinnon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mason. McKinnon does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mason definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mason really wants to buck McKinnon off and get back to his feet.
McKinnon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mason tries to reverse the position but McKinnon maintains control.
Mason takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The referee warns Mason that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
McKinnon lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mason hang on?

Mason is rocked!
McKinnon loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mason scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from McKinnon land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. McKinnon stands and salutes the crowd.
