The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patrick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Royalty avoids it really well and circles away.

Royalty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Patrick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Royalty shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Patrick eats them both and turns towards Royalty to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jilted Royalty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
