Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Kilpinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuteru Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kilpinen looks to land a left hand but Machida moved out of range nicely.
Kilpinen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Machida has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kilpinen finds it's way round the side to connect with Machida's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Machida working his ground and pound in the gym.

Kilpinen wants to get up but he can't break Machida's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
