Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Puetz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fitzgerald enables Puetz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fitzgerald manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Puetz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fitzgerald really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puetz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fitzgerald swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fitzgerald is on top in guard.

Puetz has his foot on Fitzgerald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fitzgerald works his way back into a safe position though.
