Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mace Windu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mace Windu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olson shoots in and gets a takedown into Windu's guard.
Windu is looking for a triangle but Olson pushes his legs off easily.
Windu has his foot on Olson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Olson works his way back into a safe position though.
Olson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Windu has a closed guard, preventing Olson from standing up.
Olson gets to his feet. Windu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Windu enables Olson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Windu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Olson throws a big elbow that misses.
Windu has his foot on Olson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Olson works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Olson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Windu's guard.
Olson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Windu, up you get!
Windu lands with a straight right. Olson didn't see that one coming.
Jab, jab by Windu - just one landing.

Windu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Good standup being displayed there by Windu as he connects with a hook.
Olson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Windu circles away quickly and effectively.
Windu is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jab by Windu.
Olson blocks the body kick.
Olson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Windu misses with a head kick.
Windu lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Windu.
Olson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Olson wants to stand but Windu has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Olson stands and steps away. Windu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Olson avoids the head kick by Windu.
Olson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Windu throws a low kick but Olson moves out of range easily.
Olson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Olson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Olson scores with punches from side control.
Olson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olson stands up.
Olson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Olson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Windu with a jab.
Windu connects with a crisp jab.
Olson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Windu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Olson is breathing heavily.
Windu is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Olson frees his head nicely. Oh but Windu has switched to an armbar! Olson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Mace Windu!
After the fight, Mace Windu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
