Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jeter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Wickline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeter comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind- JayZ. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wickline clinches with his opponent.
Wickline tries to pull guard but Jeter holds him up against the cage and eventually Wickline drops back down to his feet.

Wickline escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jeter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wickline has picked Jeter up and slammed him! Jeter can't keep hold of the triangle and Wickline manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jeter throws a few strikes from the bottom but Wickline takes advantage and mounts!

Wickline's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Despite being in the dominant position, Travis Wickline just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wickline stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jeter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wickline is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
I looks like Wickline might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jeter tries to kick Wickline off but Wickline keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wickline is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Wickline lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jeter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jeter tries to roll over but Wickline keeps him under control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jeter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wickline is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jeter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wickline's back instead.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jeter pushes Wickline off looking to stand but Wickline dives back in and keeps control.

Jeter is looking for a sweep. Wickline is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
