The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva with a poor takedown
and Minotauro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silva tries to break free but Minotauro pushes him back against the cage.
Minotauro lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Silva goes for a takedown attempt but Minotauro pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silva shoots in but Minotauro avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Minotauro lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Minotauro takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Mario Silva has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva leaves his chin hanging out and Minotauro seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Silva crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
