Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Granville Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Erickson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Erickson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lindsey keeps working.
Erickson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lindsey haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lindsey dodges the ground and pound from Erickson.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

A close second round but Dexter Erickson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Erickson or perhaps it was just good defense by Lindsey, which made it look bad.

Lindsey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Erickson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lindsey has managed to get both his arms back between Erickson's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You can see the frustration on Lindsey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Erickson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lindsey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Erickson defends well and Lindsey ends up having to push Erickson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dexter Erickson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lindsey shoots in looking for a takedown but Erickson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lindsey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Well Erickson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
