Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sieben Hoares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sieben Hoares will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoares throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Hoares fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delacruz sprawls well initially but Hoares persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Delacruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hoares moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Delacruz has worked his arm free - good work by Delacruz!

Hoares wants to lay and pray for a moment but Delacruz keeps working.

Delacruz is not content to let Hoares control the position.
Delacruz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Hoares throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Delacruz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hoares asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Hoares laying and praying for a moment but Delacruz takes advantage and regains half guard.

Delacruz throws an elbow that misses. Hoares uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Delacruz's guard. Nice move by Hoares!

Hoares sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Delacruz's guard.

Hoares is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Delacruz sees it coming and defends easily.
Hoares tries to stand but can't do so whilst Delacruz controls his leg.

Hoares content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hoares in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Delacruz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hoares!
