The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeary wants to clinch but Saunders slips to the side
and Saunders counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Saunders shoots in for a takedown but Yeary shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Saunders shoots in but Yeary avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Saunders blocks a head kick by Yeary.

Yeary drives through with a takedown into Saunders's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yeary jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Saunders manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Yeary lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Saunders knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yeary on the ground.

Saunders throws Yeary to one side and escapes!
