Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pier Dolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Angelo Giles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pier Dolly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dolly lands a takedown into guard.

Giles is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dolly is looking to advance position but Giles has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Giles wants to get back to his feet but Dolly is holding on tight.

Giles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dolly turns into Giles and is now in his guard.
Giles controls Dolly momentarily but Dolly frees himself.
Giles wants to control the position but Dolly says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Dolly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Giles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dolly.

Giles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Angelo Giles will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Angelo Giles has been cut.
Dolly comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Giles avoids a wild elbow strike from Dolly.
Dolly throws an elbow but it misses.
Dolly misses with a knee to the head.
Dolly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dolly creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Giles's defenses.
Giles trying to control the position but instead, Dolly has worked for underhooks and has pushed Giles into the cage.

Giles lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Giles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Giles lands a couple of elbows.

Giles postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dolly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Giles, into his guard.

Giles has Dolly pulled in close to control his posture.
Dolly is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Giles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dolly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dolly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dolly has gone for a leg lock! Giles slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dolly's guard.

Giles chips away with some ground and pound.

Dolly looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Giles wants to stand and escape but instead Dolly has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dolly is fighting to break Giles's control of his arms but Giles is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Pier Dolly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dolly throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Giles blocks it with crossed arms.
Dolly misses with an elbow strike.

Dolly is trying to break the clinch but Giles has him pressed against the cage.
Dolly has had enough of the clinch but Giles keeps him there for the moment.
Dolly misses with a knee to the head.
Dolly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dolly just misses with a elbow thrown towards Giles's brow.
Dolly throws an elbow but it misses.
Giles blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dolly manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Giles drops back looking for a leg! Dolly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dolly manages to kick Giles off! Giles jumps back into Dolly's guard.

Giles stands and steps away. Dolly gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Giles gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dolly tries to circle away but Giles has him pinned against the cage.
Giles is looking to control Dolly's arms but Dolly gets an underhook and turns him. Now Giles has his back to the cage.
Dolly throws an elbow that misses.
Dolly is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Giles is keeping busy.
Dolly wants to stall.
Dolly looking to throw knees to the head but Giles is blocking nicely.

Dolly pushes off an throws an elbow but Giles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Giles goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Giles dodges an elbow strike from Dolly.
Giles will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dolly up against the cage.
Giles pushes off an throws an elbow but Dolly leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Dolly has clasped his hands together around Giles's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Giles sneaks back into half guard.
Giles wants to improve his position but Dolly is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giles is working hard here to advance position.

Dolly being controlled here momentarily.
Giles is trying to control the position but Dolly postures up.
Giles is pulling down on Dolly's head to control his posture.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pier Dolly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dolly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
