Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marat Gafurov!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caram attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gafurov with the counter takedown but Caram avoids it easily.
Gafurov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Caram swivels and escapes.
Gafurov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Caram throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gafurov's head.
Gafurov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
As Gafurov backs away, Caram returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Gafurov is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Caram.
Caram slaps away a takedown attempt from Gafurov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Caram tried to counter with a leg kick but Gafurov avoided it.
Jamari Caram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marat Gafurov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Gafurov or perhaps it was just good defense by Caram, which made it look bad.

Gafurov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Caram quickly recovers to half guard.
Caram has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gafurov is working away from the top position though.
Caram knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gafurov on the ground.

Gafurov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Caram has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gafurov wants to work for an arm triangle but Caram is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Caram is looking for a sweep. Gafurov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gafurov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Caram keeps working.

Gafurov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Caram is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
