Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Feyd H (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beni Nikaido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Feyd H has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Feyd H!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Beni Nikaido!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikaido avoids a kick to the body.
H tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nikaido moves out of range of the body kick.
Some wild striking there from H.
H shoots for a double leg takedown but Nikaido sprawls well. He's pushed H's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
H throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nikaido avoids the body shot from H.
Nikaido avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nikaido throws out a powerful jab.

Nikaido decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Nikaido is working for a kimura but H is defending it quite comfortably.
H won't allow Nikaido to pass to mount.

H stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nikaido.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nikaido fails to land with a series of punches.
H throws a left and a right that both miss

and Nikaido counters with a takedown into side control.

Nikaido is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. H knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

H tries to lock up and control but Nikaido gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Nikaido wants to finish this one by submission but H is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nikaido.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

H wants to control from the top but Nikaido keeps moving.

H pushes Nikaido off and scrambles back to his feet.

Nikaido drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Nikaido drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and H dives on top into guard.

Nikaido had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. H is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nikaido Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take H's back instead.

H tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
H is desperately trying to improve his position but Nikaido has a good base and remains in mount.

Nikaido moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, H has worked his arm free - good work by H!
H is not content to let Nikaido control the position.

Nikaido tries to advance position but instead H slips a leg back in to half guard.

Beni Nikaido showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nikaido postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! H is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nikaido, into his guard.

Nikaido is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but H pulls his head out easily.
H seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nikaido does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
H is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nikaido is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Nikaido is staying active underneath H, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
H looks to land a left hand but Nikaido moved out of range nicely.

I would just about give that final round to Beni Nikaido.
