PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isidro Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Isidro Fowler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Sutherland!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutherland shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fowler defends it nicely.
Sutherland looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sutherland closes the distance and clinches up with Fowler, looking for a takedown. Sutherland pushes Fowler against the cage but Fowler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sutherland.
Isidro Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Sutherland.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sutherland or perhaps it was just good defense by Fowler, which made it look bad.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Fowler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Fowler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sutherland, up you get!

Sutherland rushes Fowler and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fowler turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fowler manages to end up in side control.

Fowler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fowler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
