Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Barrett had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Daniel Rand acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett misses with a series of wild punches.
Rand cracks Barrett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Marcus Barrett has been cut.
Barrett lands a with a good body shot.
Rand misses with a series of wild punches.
Rand takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Barrett scores with a nice right hand.
Rand loads up on a big right hand but Barrett slips the punch.
Nice straight punches there by Barrett. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barrett.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rand throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rand slips under a jab.
Barrett misses with a looping right.
Rand ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barrett looks to score with a jab to the body but Rand is just out of range.
Barrett is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Barrett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rand sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barrett takes a swing at Rand's ribcage but misses.
Rand takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Barrett avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rand waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Barrett.
Barrett on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A big right from Barrett misses.
Rand throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barrett on the side of the head.
Barrett is rocked!

Oh Barrett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rand drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Barrett right on the button. Barrett goes down! Rand follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rand gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Rand!
