Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between junior louvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Alvares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
louvo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Alvares trying to hold on to louvo's head to control him but louvo postures up.
Alvares is not content to let louvo control the position.
louvo moves into full mount! Alvares won't be happy about that!

and louvo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
louvo wants to control from the top but Alvares keeps moving.

and Alvares counters with a nice double leg into side control. louvo won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on louvo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that junior louvo will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Alvares drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Alvares must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Alvares slips a nice elbow through louvo's hands, connecting with louvo's forehead.
Alvares is tying to control. louvo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Tiago Alvares comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Alvares has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
