The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neves thuds his right hand into Mansor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mansor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mansor is trying to trip Neves. He has hold of a leg but Neves is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mansor persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Mansor passes Neves's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mansor seems to be working for a kimura but Neves defends the submission attempt.
Neves wants to get back to full guard.
Mansor is pressing down on Neves's thigh, looking to free his foot. Neves is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mansor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Neves defends it well.

Mansor takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kamal Mansor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mansor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Neves avoids it really well and circles away.

Mansor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Neves was covering up waiting for the punch and Mansor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Neves working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mansor.
Mansor wants to control from the top but Neves keeps moving.
Neves looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mansor is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mansor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mansor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Neves is pulling down on Mansor's head to control his posture.

Mansor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Neves's guard.
Mansor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Neves is defending against the submission attempts here by Mansor.
Mansor wants to control but Neves is keeping him busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mansor seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Neves is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
