Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

St John shoots in and bounces Jenkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
St John postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jenkins wants to stand up but St John is controlling him.
Jenkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
St John wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Jenkins wants to get back to his feet but St John is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
St John shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenkins but Jenkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

St John changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but St John manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jenkins tries to counter with a clinch but St John shakes him off and moves away.
Jenkins has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as St John is landing a low percentage of strikes.

St John manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jenkins on his heels. He'll look to pass Jenkins's guard now, I'm sure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
