A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba misses with a hook.
DeNino uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Baba has time to react.
DeNino throws a lazy right hand but Baba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
DeNino throws an overhand right that lands on Baba's shoulder, as Baba tries to avoid the shot.
Baba looks to land a left hand but DeNino moved out of range nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Baba.
A jab from DeNino misses.
Baba seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Sinbad Baba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
DeNino throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baba lands a slapping body shot.
No joy there for Baba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baba has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Baba. DeNino does a little dance to reset his feet.
DeNino throws out a loose jab but Baba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Baba, right into the meat.
DeNino takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baba lands with a kick to the ribs.
Baba lands an uppercut out of nowhere! DeNino falls backwards - clearly groggy! Baba dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
