Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hois Kreisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Royler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreisi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella. Royler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica - Fuel. Hois Kreisi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Royler!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royler stuffs the takedown.
Royler tries to close the distance and clinch but Kreisi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kreisi misses with a looping left.
A nice side step and Royler releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Kreisi throws a body shot but no joy.
Royler appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Kreisi scores with a takedown into Royler's guard.
Royler keeping full guard, as Kreisi tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kreisi is pushing down on Royler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Royler is fighting to maintain full guard but Kreisi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kreisi seems to be working for a kimura but Royler defends the submission attempt.
Royler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Kreisi trying to pass the guard but Royler defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kreisi wants to control but Royler is keeping him busy.
Royler is looking to escape.
Kreisi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Royler blocking the ground and pound.

Kreisi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Royler has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Royler!

Kreisi is looking for a triangle but Royler pushes his legs off easily.

Kreisi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Royler is one step ahead there.

Kreisi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Royler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kreisi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Royler trying to control the position from guard on top but Kreisi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Royler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kreisi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Royler defends well.
Kreisi wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kreisi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Royler's guard.

Royler wants to stand up but Kreisi is controlling him.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kreisi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Royler wants to stand and escape but Kreisi is having none of it.
Kreisi passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kreisi in side control, throwing shots but Royler defends.

Kreisi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Royler is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kreisi throws an elbow but Royler slips to the side and avoids it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kreisi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Kreisi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Royler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Royler dodges the ground and pound from Kreisi.
Kreisi works to advance to full mount. Royler defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kreisi with shots to the head and body - Royler looks very uncomfortable down there.
Kreisi throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kreisi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kreisi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kreisi looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kreisi postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Royler badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kreisi around the waist but Kreisi pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kreisi is the winner by TKO! Kreisi jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hois Kreisi!
