The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Langley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Langley wants to stand and escape but instead Caluya has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Caluya is taking a breather. Langley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like Caluya might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well, if Caluya is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Caluya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Caluya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Caluya feints and as Langley raises his hands in defense, Caluya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caluya's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Caluya is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Caluya scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Langley is rocked!
Caluya postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Langley covers up, he's hurt! Caluya keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Caluya and the ref steps in to end the fight! Caluya can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
