Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teodoro Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Vergoslav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Vergoslav has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teodoro Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Vergoslav!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Vergoslav shoots in and gets a takedown into Hunter's guard.
Hunter has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Vergoslav lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Hunter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vergoslav is fighting to break Hunter's control of his arms but Hunter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

and Vergoslav counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Vergoslav drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vergoslav jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vergoslav stands up and waves to Hunter to follow him.

Vergoslav is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hunter's half guard.

Vergoslav is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hunter is just riding it out for now. Vergoslav eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vergoslav gets tackled into the cage by Hunter. Hunter maintains the clinch.

Vergoslav pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hunter tries to clinch but Vergoslav is having none of it.
Vergoslav is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Vergoslav has Hunter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Vergoslav pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hunter tumbling to the mat - Vergoslav dives into Hunter's guard.

Hunter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vergoslav is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vergoslav is fighting to break Hunter's control of his arms but Hunter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hunter fails with the takedown.
Vergoslav tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Vergoslav tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Hunter shoots in for a double leg but Vergoslav sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vergoslav throws a counter combo.
Hunter scores with a jab. Vergoslav acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Vergoslav moves into range and clinches up with Hunter.

Vergoslav gets control of Hunter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vergoslav will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hunter won't allow Vergoslav to get back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hunter wanted to stand there but Vergoslav had control of the position.
Hunter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hunter trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Igor Vergoslav showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hunter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And Vergoslav tries to counter it with a takedown but Hunter pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Igor Vergoslav is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Vergoslav darts in and clinches Hunter up against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vergoslav is trying to break the clinch but Hunter has him pressed against the cage.
Hunter trying to control the position but instead, Vergoslav has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hunter into the cage.
Vergoslav goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Vergoslav wants the takedown. Hunter is fighting it off but Vergoslav persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hunter's guard against the cage.
Vergoslav wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.

Vergoslav gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Teodoro Hunter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hunter misses with a head kick.
Vergoslav is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Igor Vergoslav comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vergoslav has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
