Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doc Stuffins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Rusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusky has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Little Rusky has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Doc Stuffins's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Little Rusky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusky throws a series of punches but Stuffins moves out of range.
Rusky misses with a looping left.
Stuffins fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stuffins shoots in looking for a takedown but Rusky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stuffins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stuffins decides to pull guard.
Stuffins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Stuffins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Rusky lands a couple of digs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rusky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stuffins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rusky has managed to get both his arms back between Stuffins's legs - danger averted.

Rusky's coach down at Extreme MMA (7 Elites $250/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rusky's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rusky tries to land a front kick but Stuffins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rusky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stuffins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Little Rusky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stuffins tries to clinch there but Rusky circles away.
Despite the aggression on Rusky's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stuffins shoots in looking for a takedown. Rusky tries to sprawl out of it but Stuffins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rusky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doc Stuffins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rusky wants to control but Stuffins is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Doc Stuffins will probably get the nod.
