Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Volz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan fails to land the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Duncan. No joy for Volz on that attempt.
Volz slaps away a takedown attempt from Duncan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Anthony Volz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duncan throws a series of punches but Volz avoids them all with ease.
Volz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Duncan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like Duncan is going to stand back up.
Duncan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Volz wants to get back to full guard.

Anthony Volz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Volz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duncan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Volz somewhat.

Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown. Volz tries to sprawl out of it but Duncan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Volz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Volz clinches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Volz.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Duncan tries to stall but Volz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The referee is keeping an eye on Duncan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Volz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duncan walks away with a smile on his face. Volz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A bone on bone clash there as Duncan blocks the leg kick.
Duncan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Volz as he jumps to the side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Volz.
Volz misses with a jab, cross combination.
