Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cool McCold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feng Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCold's entrance music is Back in Black. A fine choice. Wei comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tekken DR - Snow Castle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

McCold works the jab nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wei slips under a jab.
McCold lands a lovely overhand right.
McCold throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wei shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCold as he jumps to the side.
No luck for Wei with that takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Wei shoots in and bounces McCold off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McCold utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McCold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wei must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McCold has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cool McCold will probably get the nod.

Wei closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

McCold is looking to control Wei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McCold avoid being mounted?

Wei might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McCold kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Wei shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McCold pinned against the cage. McCold gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
