Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viljo lands a leg kick that knocks Shylo off balance momentarily.
Viljo leaves Shylo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Viljo lands a glancing blow to the side of Shylo's head.
Viljo walks into a jab.
Shylo darts in looking for a takedown but Viljo gets double underhooks and turns Shylo into the cage.
Shylo misses with an uppercut. Viljo saw that one coming.

Shylo has gone for a leg lock! Viljo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shylo's guard.

Viljo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Viljo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Viljo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Shylo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Viljo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shylo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shylo has his foot on Viljo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Viljo works his way back into a safe position though.

Shylo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Viljo is aware though and is defending well.

Viljo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shylo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Viljo has managed to get both his arms back between Shylo's legs - danger averted.

Shylo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Viljo stacks Shylo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Viljo!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Viljo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shylo. That did some damage!
Viljo moves away from the strike by Shylo.
Shylo goes for a double leg but Viljo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Viljo continues to drive forward.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Viljo enables Shylo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Viljo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Viljo is trying to stick to Shylo's back but Shylo is turning into Viljo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Viljo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Shylo.

Viljo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Shylo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Viljo swivels and escapes.

It looked like Viljo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shylo.
Shylo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Shylo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Viljo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No joy there for Viljo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shylo misses with a looping left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viljo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shylo.

Viljo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Shylo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Viljo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Viljo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Juntusen Viljo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muana Shylo.
Viljo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shylo at a distance.
Viljo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Shylo walks straight into a right hand from Viljo - that's dropped him! Viljo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Shylo from any more punishment! Shylo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
