Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaldo Bernados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bernados has chosen run this town as his entrance music. Arnaldo Bernados has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chuck Hull's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Hull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnaldo Bernados!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hull has Bernados up against the cage in a clinch.

Hull's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bernados looks for a takedown but Hull sprawls well.

Hull clinches with his opponent.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hull.
Hull is looking to break free of the clinch but Bernados has double underhooks.
Hull scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bernados trying to stall but Hull improves his position.
Bernados swings wildly with an uppercut but Hull uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bernados's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hull is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hull turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hull manages to end up in side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hull controls the position.

Hull wants to stand but Bernados is controlling his arm.
Hull moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Hull tries to stand but Bernados is controlling his head.
Hull trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hull stands up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hull darts in looking for a takedown but Bernados gets double underhooks and turns Hull into the cage.
Bernados tries to counter by closing the distance.
Bernados tries to clinch there but Hull circles away.
Hull tries a head kick but it misses.
Hull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bernados defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hull is defended easily by Bernados.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Hull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bernados connects with an inside leg kick.

Bernados closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hull counters with a straight right hand.
Hull throws a right and a left that Bernados avoids nicely.
Hull really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bernados doesn't manage to clinch there - Hull circles away.

Hull scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hull is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bernados won't allow Hull to pass to mount.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hull in particular looking to stall.
Hull has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hull tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bernados.

Hull stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hull wants it to stay on the feet.

Bernados lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bernados tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hull manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hull swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hull wants to stand but Bernados is controlling his arm.

Hull decides to stand back up. Hull steps back and let's Bernados get back to his feet.

Hull looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Chuck Hull overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hull is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hull wants to stand but Bernados has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hull performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Chuck Hull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hull instigates a clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hull escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hull stuffs the takedown attempt from Bernados. Bernados gets slowly back to his feet.

Bernados tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hull smiles and moves away.

Hull looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bernados!

Hull has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Hull misses with a takedown attempt - Bernados sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Hull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bernados tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hull counters with a series of strikes. Bernados will be more careful next time no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hull drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hull wants to get up but he can't break Bernados's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bernados wants to sweep but no luck.

Bernados is working an open guard so Hull takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bernados will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hull drives through with a takedown into Bernados's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hull seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bernados for as long as he can get away with.
