Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Simmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Simmons is refusing to be controlled, as Jacobs sits in half guard.

Simmons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Simmons misses with a takedown attempt - Jacobs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jacobs shoots in and bounces Simmons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jacobs is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Simmons has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jacobs is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Simmons is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Simmons flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jacobs anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Simmons and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jacobs slips an arm under Simmons chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jacobs has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jacobs is squeezing on Simmons like an anaconda would it's prey. Simmons fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
