Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luciano Garza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Akira Ito!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ito darts in and clinches Garza up against the cage.

Garza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Garza slips a straight right by Ito.
Ito attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Akira Ito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ito forces Garza back against the cage and clinches.

Garza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ito is looking to score with low kicks.
Garza half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ito dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Garza. That did some damage!
Garza shoots for a takedown but Ito saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ito tries a quick counter leg kick but Garza is wise to it.

Ito darts in and clinches Garza up against the cage.
Garza tries to break free but Ito pushes him back against the cage.

Garza lands a takedown into guard.
Ito doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Garza takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Ito is controlling Garza's posture.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ito looking for a sweep. Not yet Ito, not yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garza is looking to stand up but Ito won't let him.
Ito is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ito is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Garza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ito.
Ito controlling the pace.
Garza flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ito winds up and cracks Garza with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ito has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Still in half guard, Ito seems content to control.
Ito lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ito slows the pace down in half guard.

Ito seems to be looking for submissions.
Ito is nestled in close to Garza, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ito is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Garza is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
