7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rza Reckta! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Reckta momentarily.
Rolf Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reckta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Reckta persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson misses with the combination.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Reckta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Reckta! Reckta is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jackson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Reckta is now in Jackson's guard. A big mistake from Jackson there, giving up the dominant position! Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reckta content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reckta is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reckta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Reckta from controlling successfully. Reckta slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson is trying to hold Reckta in close to prevent damage but Reckta has managed to pass into half guard.
Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jackson has his foot on Reckta's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reckta works his way back into a safe position though. Reckta postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. Jackson wants to stand and escape but Reckta is having none of it. Jackson is looking to stand back up but Reckta counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jackson. Reckta seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jackson is looking to improve his position.

Reckta takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jackson wants to control but Reckta is keeping busy.

Reckta takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reckta manages to avoid it. Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reckta stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jackson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Reckta moves away from the strike by Jackson. Reckta shoots and misses and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson landing some decent shots from guard. Jackson pushes down on Reckta's leg and manages to get into half guard. Reckta trying to control but Jackson postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reckta is staying active underneath Jackson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jackson works over Reckta's head and body with a nice combination. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reckta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rolf Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson throws a right hand that Reckta ducks under and follows up with a left that Reckta also avoids with ease. Jackson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Reckta misses with a takedown attempt and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Reckta takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jackson tries for a takedown but Reckta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jackson is fighting to break Reckta's control of his arms but Reckta is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Reckta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Reckta. Reckta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jackson advances to full mount. Jackson punching from mount but Reckta doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Reckta throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that's the end of the fight! Rolf Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
