And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mother Effyew Ceekay!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William misses with a double jab.
William looks for a takedown but Effyew Ceekay sprawls well.
Effyew Ceekay stuffs the takedown attempt from William. William gets slowly back to his feet.
Effyew Ceekay throws a fast counter high kick but William manages to duck under it in time.
William blocks a head kick by Effyew Ceekay.
A punch combination from William misses.
William fails with a takedown attempt.
William backing away here, and Effyew Ceekay unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas William. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
William shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Effyew Ceekay is trying to defend but William finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Effyew Ceekay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with William. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
William prevents Effyew Ceekay from improving his position.
We've been hearing good reports from William's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
William is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Effyew Ceekay has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. William is working away from the top position though.
William tries to pass the half guard into mount. Effyew Ceekay knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Effyew Ceekay has hold of William's hands but William slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
William throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

William moves into full mount! Effyew Ceekay won't be happy about that!
William connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like Mother Effyew Ceekay has been cut.
Effyew Ceekay tries to get back to half guard but can't.
William scoring with strikes but Effyew Ceekay is staying in there.
William postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Effyew Ceekay looks a forlorn figure.
William looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
William has hold of Effyew Ceekay's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Effyew Ceekay manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
William is landing with some decent strikes but Effyew Ceekay is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up Mother Effyew Ceekay's cut even more.
William is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Effyew Ceekay can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mother Effyew Ceekay's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Thomas William!
After the fight, Thomas William was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
