The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chadstone darts in looking for a takedown but Babak gets double underhooks and turns Chadstone into the ropes.
Babak stuffs the takedown attempt from Chadstone. Chadstone gets slowly back to his feet.

and Chadstone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Babak is not content to let Chadstone control the position.
Babak's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Chadstone gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Babak tries to counter by clinching up but Chadstone breaks away and moves out of range.

Babak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chadstone circles away quickly and effectively.

Babak takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
