Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Editiny Dick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stone Cold!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dick closes the distance and clinches.

Dick has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cold regains guard immediately.
Cold looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dick is one step ahead there.
Cold is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cold can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dick controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dick slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Dick has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dick is looking for a counter combo.
Cold misses with a takedown attempt
and Dick counters with a left to the body.
Dick connects with a nice looking jab.
A right-left combo lands from Dick.
Cold fails with the takedown
and Dick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


Cold is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cold with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dick counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Editiny Dick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stone Cold.
Cold doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Dick counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Cold is still in real trouble! Can Dick finish him?
Cold looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dick works his way into side control.
Dick moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Dick has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cold is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dick yanks on the arm and Cold is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dick.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Editiny Dick!
After the fight, Editiny Dick was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
