Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alex Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Kozakov!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young moves to clinch but Kozakov breaks away
and Kozakov counters with a nice body kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Young crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kozakov - the referee stops the clock and Young gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kozakov. Young manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Young doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kozakov moves into the clinch.
Young tries to work over Kozakov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Young drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Young gets underhooks to prevent Kozakov's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kozakov has picked Young up - he's going for a ride! Kozakov dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Kozakov is keen to just control but Young is a slippery customer.

Young is trying to stand up here but Kozakov is controlling him well.

Kozakov stops Young from getting back to his feet.
Kozakov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kozakov stalling away here and it's allowed Young to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kozakov gets to his feet - Young follows without any prompting.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alex Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kozakov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Young is looking for a counter combo.
Young tries to land a front kick but Kozakov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kozakov is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Young Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Kozakov is out cold, face down on the mat!
