The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts rodrigo as he jumps to the side.
Markson slips under a jab from rodrigo.
rodrigo misses with an uppercut.

Markson scores with a takedown into rodrigo's guard.
rodrigo throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Markson trying to control the position from guard on top but rodrigo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Markson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Markson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

rodrigo is looking for a triangle but Markson pushes his legs off easily.
Markson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

rodrigo looking for a triangle here. Markson is fighting it but it looks tight! rodrigo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Markson is tapping out - this one is all over!
