Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bartek Gor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harcin Meld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harcin Meld!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meld throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Gor counters with a shoot takedown. Meld fights it but they end up in guard.
Gor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Meld looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Meld really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Meld wants to get back to his feet but Gor passes into half guard.

You can see the frustration on Meld's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee asks Gor politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gor prefers to stall for the moment though.

Meld displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gor.

Meld moves in looking to clinch but Gor pushes him off.

and Gor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Meld enables Gor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Meld manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Meld is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Gor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Meld as he jumps to the side.
Bartek Gor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Meld tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gor was well out of range. Poor timing from Meld.

Meld tries to buck Gor off but Gor is having none of it.
Meld wants to control but Gor postures up.
Meld parries the strikes from Gor easily there. Gor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Meld to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Meld is not content to let Gor control the position.

Gor is trying to get an arm triangle but Meld is defending well.

Meld wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Gor has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Meld's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Meld is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Gor!
