The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man goes for a double leg but McEnroe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McEnroe continues to drive forward.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McEnroe! But no joy.

Man shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Man showed some decent athleticism there.
McEnroe wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McEnroe is looking to improve his position.
McEnroe looks like he's trying to stand up.

Man decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Man prevents McEnroe from standing back up.
McEnroe is not content to let Man control the position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Man seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McEnroe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Man is looking to stall here but McEnroe recovers full guard.
Man wants to control from the top but McEnroe keeps moving.

McEnroe has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Man should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McEnroe has tightened it up now! Man should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
