Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lock Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lock Down!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Iron!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down cracks a nice hook into Iron's ribs.
Down lands with a good body shot.
Down uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Iron has time to react.
Iron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Down moves away.
Down swings widly with a right hand
and Iron counters with a straight right hand.
A jab from Iron finds it's way through Down's defenses.
Down misses with an uppercut
and Iron counters with a nice uppercut.
Iron staying out of range there.
Down bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Down misses the shot to the body.
Down just misses with a punch to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iron takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Down throws a push kick but Iron slaps the foot to one side.
Lock Down seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Iron misses with a body shot.
Down feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Iron looks to throw the jab but Down is out of range.
Down with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Iron to score with a decent uppercut.
Iron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Iron takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like The Iron has been cut.
Iron misses the shot to the body.
Down throws a sloppy head kick and Iron moves out of range easily.

Iron pushes Down up against the cage in a clinch.
Down fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Iron prevents Down from breaking the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Iron.
Down looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Down takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Down pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Iron moves out of range of the body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Down throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Iron appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Down lands a nice hook to Iron's body. Iron takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Iron connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Iron looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Iron bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Down misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Down throws a head kick but Iron moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Iron lands a two punch combo.
Down misses the shot to the body.
Iron displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Down is looking to wear down Iron with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Iron uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Down has time to react.


Down is rocked!
Iron lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Down falls backwards - clearly groggy! Iron dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Iron!
The Iron decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
