Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Some Bodies Gonna Get It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ryan Brooks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brooks fails to land the takedown.
Zimmerman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Brooks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Zimmerman counters with a nice kick to the body.
Leroy Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Brooks .

Excellent takedown into side control there by Brooks .
Zimmerman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brooks is trying to get an arm triangle but Zimmerman is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zimmerman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brooks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Brooks is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zimmerman looks calm but he's in trouble here. Brooks gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zimmerman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Brooks lets go of the hold and Zimmerman can pop his arm back in it's socket.

After winning the bout, Ryan Brooks thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
