Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Stabber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Johansson!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stabber on the side of the head.
Johansson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stabber sprawling to the canvas! Stabber rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johansson finish him?!
Johansson rushes Stabber with punches - Stabber moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Stabber goes down! Johansson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Johansson!
