Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes to the cage accompanied by Im not afraid. Ray Lewis has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage scores with a jab to the jaw.

Savage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lewis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lewis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Savage throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lewis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lewis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Savage cracks Lewis with an open hand slap.
Savage pushes Lewis up against the cage in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Billy Bob Savage has been cut.
Lewis moves into range and clinches up with Savage.
Savage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Savage tries to close the distance and clinch but Lewis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Savage but Savage pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lewis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Savage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Savage misses with a hook. Lewis ducked under it nicely.
Savage cracks Lewis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Savage might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lewis tries to keep at a distance but Savage has taken the fight into the clinch.

A little jabbing left from Savage on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Savage thuds his right hand into Lewis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lewis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Savage is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lewis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Lewis wants to stand and escape but Savage is having none of it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Billy Bob Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Lewis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Savage steps in with a hook that catches Lewis right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Savage follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lewis looks absolutely devastated.
