The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marks forces Varce back against the cage and clinches.
Varce turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Marks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like Rory Marks has been cut.
The ground and pound from Varce seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Marks is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Rory Marks's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jonah Varce was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
