The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kriznov dips to his left and cracks Ashkram with an uppercut!
Kriznov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

so Ashkram counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kriznov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Ashkram might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kriznov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ashkram manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ashkram has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kriznov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
