PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Quagmaier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Richert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmaier misses with a takedown attempt - Richert sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Glenn Quagmaier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quagmaier changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Richert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Richert throws a nice looking combination but Quagmaier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Quagmaier wants to finish this one by submission but Richert is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Quagmaier.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Quagmaier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richert gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Quagmaier looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Richert has picked Quagmaier up and slammed him! Quagmaier can't keep hold of the triangle and Richert manages to pass to side control!

Richert is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Quagmaier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Quagmaier is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Quagmaier manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Richert has left one of his arms exposed and Quagmaier doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Richert screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
