Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Mattos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jean Mattos had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mattos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nuts takes a swing at Mattos's ribcage but misses.
Nuts scores with a sloppy right hand. Mattos should have avoided that one.
Mattos goes for a double leg but Nuts avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nuts continues to drive forward.

Mattos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nuts was covering up waiting for the punch and Mattos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mattos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mattos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nuts for as long as he can get away with.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mattos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mattos stands up and waves to Nuts to follow him.

Mattos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mattos is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nuts can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Nuts is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mattos locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Nuts is forced to tap!
