Minuano has Shaffer up against the cage in a clinch.
Shaffer is struggling to control the position.

Minuano jumps guard.
Shaffer distracts Minuano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Shaffer connects with a couple of short punches.
Minuano trying to keep a closed guard but Shaffer is proving a slippery customer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Minuano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shaffer's guard.

Minuano drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shaffer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Minuano has Shaffer in his guard.

Minuano regains half guard.

Minuano is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Shaffer has latched onto it... Big trouble! Shaffer pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Minuano is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Shaffer!
