Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuji Tamashihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Ozawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuji Tamashihiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamashihiro takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ozawa looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tamashihiro pulls Ozawa in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ozawa sneaks out the side door and pushes Tamashihiro away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Tamashihiro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ozawa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ozawa's back!

Ozawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tamashihiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tamashihiro checks a leg kick.

Ozawa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tamashihiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ozawa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tamashihiro.

Ozawa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tamashihiro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
