PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Showtime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chalidow comes to the cage accompanied by Martin Garrix - Proxy. Showtime comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Old Toms Hut kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rick Showtime will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalidow shoots for a double leg takedown but Showtime sprawls well. He's pushed Chalidow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Mamed Chalidow will probably get the nod.

Chalidow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Showtime manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chalidow has Showtime in his guard.

Chalidow is looking to cinch up a triangle. Showtime throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Chalidow's body to avoid the submission. Chalidow has instead reached around Showtime's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Chalidow arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
